Sharing good news with the wrong people can sometimes lead to disappointment or even exploitation. It’s crucial to be mindful of who we confide in when it comes to our accomplishments. This episode explores the importance of selecting the right people to share our success with and how it can impact our well-being.

Genuine support means having friends who celebrate our victories without expecting anything in return. Unfortunately, finding such individuals can be challenging in today’s world. Some may pretend to be happy for us but harbor hidden agendas or envy. By keeping our inner circle small and trustworthy, we create a safe space to celebrate our achievements without fear of exploitation. We also emphasize the importance of focusing on our passions and purpose, as it helps us align ourselves with those who genuinely support us. When we choose the right people to share our success with, we can confidently navigate the journey to greatness and protect our well-being along the way.

Choosing the right people to share our success with is a significant decision that can impact our happiness and growth. Surrounding ourselves with genuine supporters who celebrate our accomplishments without hidden motives is key. By being mindful of who we confide in and focusing on our passions and purpose, we can create a supportive environment that safeguards our well-being and nurtures our journey towards success. Welcome back to this week’s episode.  Last week of How to be a badass financially. Today we’re going to talk about the last piece of truly becoming a financial badass. But first, let’s remember why we’re doing this. We’re not doing this to be rich. If it brings you riches, then great. But it’s all about what you want. If this isn’t for you, don’t worry about it.

So, what’s the last piece? It’s detaching your dollar from your hour. You need to acquire assets that pay you even when you’re not working. This is what we call “mailbox money.” But how do you do this? Well, you need to acquire assets. There are a couple of books out there that can help, like “Rich Dad, Poor Dad.” This book changed my life and taught me how to acquire assets, how to spend money skillfully, and how to separate my dollar from my hour.

When money is coming in, even when you’re not working, you get to do what you really love, what fills you up with purpose, and what gives you energy. You get to set your whole life based on what you want.

So, there you have it – acquire assets, detach your dollar from your hour, and be a financial badass. Remember, if you find this helpful, share it with a friend.

Welcome back to the podcast, we are continuing with How to Be a Badass. Today we’re continuing our journey toward financial badassery. So, what’s the next step? It’s simple: save money. Why do we want to do this? So our lives aren’t controlled by the man – our boss, the government, the bank, and so on. We want to have the freedom to spend our time doing what brings us joy, happiness, and fulfillment.

To achieve this, we need to save money. Aim to save 3 to 6 months’ worth of bills. How do you do this? It’s just like getting out of debt – you save it. Don’t accumulate debt again just because you got out of debt before. We’re trying to be badasses and live with purpose here.

If you’re already debt-free and aware of where your money is going, then you need to figure out how to save. Cut out the unnecessary things in your life that give you a quick dopamine spike but don’t add any real value to your life. Save money so you can be financially free, live a life of purpose, and be happier.

I’m no financial expert, but these are the basics. The most important thing is to remember why we’re doing this – to have control over our lives and live with purpose. So, let’s keep saving and working towards our financial badassery!

Welcome back, where we’re talking about how to be a badass.  We are continuing with being a financial badass. Why am I talking about this? Because everyone wants to know how to be a badass and live a good life. And part of that is financial freedom. Last week we talked about tracking your income and expenses, and now we’re moving on to the next step: getting out of debt.

Bad debt is any debt that’s accumulating interest over 5%. So, focus on paying off that bad debt and stop spending money on things you don’t need. You can’t save money while carrying debt because the interest on your debt is greater than the interest on your savings.

To become a financial badass, you need to shift your mindset and prioritize what you actually need in life, rather than just spending money on what you want. So, get out of debt, stop spending on unnecessary things, and start discovering your passion, finding your power, and giving your purpose to the world.

Remember, being a financial badass isn’t about being rich; it’s about being in control of your finances and making smart decisions. So, let’s work towards being debt-free and living our best lives.

Welcome back to my podcast! Today we’re talking about how to become a financial badass. We’ve already covered the physical stuff, so now it’s time to talk about your money. You can’t be a real badass if you’re stuck in a job you hate and can’t take a break from it when you need it. I’m not saying you should quit your job tomorrow, but you gotta start working towards being a financial badass.

So, the first step is to figure out where you’re at financially. How much money are you making, and how much is going out every month? Are you spending more than you’re making? Are you barely breaking even? Or are you actually saving money? You gotta know this stuff before you can make any changes.

The best way to do this is to make a spreadsheet of your finances. Just list out all your income and expenses for three months. And I mean everything, every penny that comes in and goes out. Don’t judge yourself or stop doing anything; just track it.

Once you’ve got that info, you can figure out where you need to make changes. Maybe you need to cut back on eating out or find a way to make more money. Whatever it is, you’ll have a better idea of what’s going on and how you can improve.

Remember, being rich and being a financial badass aren’t the same thing. It’s not about how much money you have; it’s about being in control of your finances and making smart decisions. So, start by tracking your income and expenses, and we’ll talk about more ways to become a financial badass in future episodes.

Last week of how to be a badass in the physical area of our life. Let’s remember repetition is the mother of all skills, so everything we have discussed has to be done consistently over a long period. How do you do that? You put them on your calendar so that it becomes like a job that must get done.

How do you be a badass? First, you take care of your physical body. One of the most important places to start with this is to make sure you are healthy. So, get a doctor. Men, we don’t like to hear this. It scares us that something might be wrong. Well, get over it. Get a doctor to schedule 2 appointments per year and ensure you are physically healthy enough to do what we discussed in last week’s episodes.

We are looking at how to be a badass in our lives. The best place to start is in the physical area of our life. What is the next step? Learn how to defend yourself. Knowing how to fight is what actually makes you a badass. So go learn how to protect yourself and the ones you love. If you are already training Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu or Muay Thai, get better.

Continuing in our series of How to Be A Badass. We are staying with the physical area of this. You must get in shape and work out intensely at least 3x per week. Get in the gym, lift weights, and do cardiovascular exercise. You cannot be a badass if you are out of shape.
